Stroganoff Pot Pie is a dinner recipe filled with ground beef, vegetables, and seasonings. It will help warm your insides on a fall/winter night. I cook for my husband and two boys, so I usually cook two meals for dinner. This pot pie goes good with the following: Steamed or Roasted Vegetables, Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Rice, Crusty Bread, Dinner Rolls, and Cranberry Sauce. Choose sides that you enjoy and that complement the main dish without overwhelming it.

Ingredients

  • 9' refrigerator or homemade pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef (I use 80%-20%)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use pink salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (I use milled tricolored)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can condensed mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup sliced or canned mushrooms
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

How To Make stroganoff pot pie:

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400F and grease a 9″ pie plate.
  • Step 2
    Roll out the pie crust.
  • Step 3
    Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Step 4
    Add the extra lean ground beef and break it up while it browns.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle in the salt and pepper.
  • Step 6
    Slice the mushrooms if not presliced.
  • Step 7
    Once browned, drain the ground beef.
  • Step 8
    Pour in the Worcestershire sauce.
  • Step 9
    Stir in the water.
  • Step 10
    Add the condensed soup and the mushrooms. Stir to combine.
  • Step 11
    Dump in the frozen vegetables. Stir to combine.
  • Step 12
    Once combined, scrape the meat mixture into the prepared pie plate.
  • Step 13
    Cover with the rolled-out pastry. Crimp edges and cut slits in the top. Cover the edges of the pastry.
  • Step 14
    Bake in the preheated 400 degrees F oven for 30 – 35 minutes or until pastry is browned and sauce is bubbling.
  • Step 15
    Remove from oven and let stand for a couple of minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!
