I created a new recipe based on chicken bacon ranch, it will be on steak, it's so delicious.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces dried penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 2 tablespoons the steak blend seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons ranch dressing mix, divided
  • 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup half and half
  • 1 1/2 cups french fried onions

How To Make steak bacon ranch casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 13 x9 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Cook penne pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 3
    Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef stew meat. Cook for 6 minutes or until they are no longer pink.
  • Step 4
    Season with the steak blend seasoning and 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix.
  • Step 5
    Remove from heat. Transfer into a large plate.
  • Step 6
    Heat the remaining olive oil in the same skillet over medium heat. Add diced yellow onion and saute for 3 minutes or until they are soft and translucent. Stir in 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix. Remove from heat.
  • Step 7
    In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, cream cheese, and remaining ranch dressing mix; whisk well for 3 minutes until blended. Stir in half of the crumbled bacon and 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Step 8
    In a large bowl, add penne pasta, onion mixture, cooked beef stew meat, and ranch cream mixture; mix well for 3 minutes until combined.
  • Step 9
    Pour in half and half and mix it again.
  • Step 10
    Spoon into a greased casserole dish and spread evenly. Top with the remaining crumbled bacon and shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Step 11
    Bake for 25 minutes or until are golden brown.
  • Step 12
    Remove from the oven. Top with french fried onions.
