squash casserole
My children absolutely love this recipe. I add more cheese than the recipe calls for because I like the extra cheese. Feel free to leave out the chicken if you just want vegetables. I also substitute the squash in the off season for other fresh vegetables the grocery has in stock.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds squash, cubed and cooked
- 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
- 1 - sour cream, small carton
- 1 - small onion, chopped
- 1 box stove top stuffing, save some for the top
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 can chicken meat
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
How To Make squash casserole

Step 1Saute onions in small amount of butter or oil.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together and put in a casserole dish. Put reserved crumbs and cheese on top.

Step 3Bake at 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.
