Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Italian dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (not Greek)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1/2 cup jarred marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Using cooking spray, prepare a 9-inch pie dish. Dust the dish with bread crumbs on the bottom and sides.

Step 2Combine ricotta, egg whites, yogurt, flour, and spices - mix well.

Step 3Blend in the spinach mixture and spread it evenly into the prepared dish.

Step 4Spread marinara sauce over the top of the spinach mixture.

Step 5Top with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle the Parmesan on top.

Step 6Bake pie for approximately 45 minutes at 375 degrees - until cheese is melted and is slightly browned.
