This is one of the meals that is requested often at our house.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground chuck, cooked
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make sour cream beef 'n noodles

  • Step 1
    Cook noodles, drain
  • Step 2
    Brown meat and onion together
  • Step 3
    Add tomato sauce,salt,pepper and garlic salt
  • Step 4
    Combine noodles,cottage cheese and sour cream in a separate bowl
  • Step 5
    Put 1/2 of the noodle mixture in a 2 1/2 qt casserole dish
  • Step 6
    Add 1/2 meat mixture on top of noodles
  • Step 7
    Repeat layers. top with cheddar cheese.
  • Step 8
    Bake 350 for 30-35 minutes. I don't cover mine
