potatoes peeled and chopped
2 stick
3/4 c
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 medium
onion sliced
1 1/2 lb
ground pork sausage
1/4 c
tomato sauce
1/4 c
bbq sauce
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
1 Tbsp
1/2 c
shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Sausage Casserole


  • 1Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until soft. Drain mash potatoes with butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • 2Preheat oven 400 degrees.
    Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and cook 3 minutes. Add the sausage and cook until no longer pink.
  • 3Mix tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, worcestershire sauce, soup mix, flour, and 3/4 cup water in a jug and shake until well combined. Stir into sausage mixture cook until thickened.
  • 4Add sausage mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with cheese and then mashed potatoes
