When my hubby and his brother were young my mother in law made this for them, and they asked for it often. It is very economical, and tastes great!

2 boxes kraft macaroni and cheese, prepared to directions
1 pound hamburger, fried and drained (i used bob evans sausage)
1 jar spaghetti sauce (i used veggie sauce)

How To Make sandy's "hamburger helper"

Step 1

Mix meat and prepared mac and cheese. Put into 9x13, cover top with spaghetti sauce then stir to combine. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 min or until heated through.

Step 2

Note: I only used about 1/2 jar of pasta sauce. Maybe next time try pizza sauce?
