  • 1 box applewood bacon flavored au gratin potatoes
  • 2 1/3 cups water
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 8 - hot dogs sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • - sliced chives for garnish

How To Make redneck potatoes and weiners

  • Step 1
    Stir the potatoes , sauce mix, water and milk in a large skillet. Add the butter and peas and heat to boiling reduce to a simmer and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the hot dogs and cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Garnish with chives.
