prime macaroni and cheese
I created a new side recipe for prime rib. It's inspired by Kinder's prime rib seasoning. It's on macaroni and cheese. There are poppy seeds on the bottom.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2 cubes
- 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 1/2 cubes
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 6 tablespoons prime rib seasoning, divided
- 16 ounces dry elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make prime macaroni and cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. Add cubed sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, poppy seeds, and 2 tablespoons prime steak seasoning; mix well.

Step 3Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of prime rib seasoning; toss it well until combined.

Step 4Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and 1 tablespoon prime rib seasoning; whisk for about 35 seconds.

Step 5Slowly whisk in heavy cream, half and half, cream cheese, and remaining prime rib seasoning together until melted and creamy.

Step 6Add cooked macaroni; stir well. Cover and let it simmer for 8 minutes.

Step 7Remove from heat. Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 8Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted.
