How To Make pork chops with mushroom rice
-
Step 1Brown pork chops in skillet. Remove them and set aside.
-
Step 2In same skillet add olive oil and onion. Cook long enough for onions to start softening a little bit.
-
Step 3Add mushrooms to the skillet and when they start to turn darker add garlic and Worcestershire sauce. When mushrooms and onions are soft and done pull the skillet off the burner.
-
Step 4In a 9 inch round baking dish with lid or 8 x 8 baking dish that you can cover with foil add mixture from skillet and rice. Stir them together.
-
Step 5In microwave safe dish add beef broth and beef base. Heat for about 90 seconds to dissolve the base then stir it together.
-
Step 6Pour broth in the baking dish over the rice mixture.
-
Step 7Place pork chops on top.
-
Step 8Cover with lid or aluminum foil.
-
Step 9Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and the rice is done.
