This is a great casserole that takes no time to put together. Really nice with a salad or garlic bread.

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 c
    chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 pkg
    dry spaghetti sauce mix
  • ·
    dash salt
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/8 tsp
    tobasco sauce
  • ·
    mozzarella cheese slices

  • 1 c
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make Pop-up Pizza Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. Brown beef, drain fat and add remaining ingredients except cheese and batter. Mix well and simmer 15-20 minutes.
  3. Pour into casserole dish and cover with cheese slices. Beat ingredients for batter for 1 minute at medium speed. Pour over base.
  4. Spread to cover all. Sprinkle with parmesan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or till golden brown and puffed.
