Don't let the name fool you. This is a great dish. My family started calling it "pig slop" because it has a little bit of everything.

Ingredients

  • 4 - frozen chicken breasts, thawed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • - salt to taste
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make pig slop

  • Step 1
    Cut up chicken into bite-sized pieces. Cook chicken and onion in a dutch oven with oil. Cook until chicken is cooked through and onion tender.
  • Step 2
    Add chicken broth, cream of celery soup, mixed vegetables, and noodles. Mix through. Add salt, pepper and lemon pepper to taste. Bring mixture to a boil.
  • Step 3
    Reduce to simmer. Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender checking and stirring mixture every 10-15 minutes.
