Don't let the name fool you. This is a great dish. My family started calling it "pig slop" because it has a little bit of everything.

Ingredients

frozen chicken breasts, thawed
1 medium
onion, chopped
2 Tbsp
oil
1 can(s)
chicken broth
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
2 c
frozen mixed vegetables
2 c
egg noodles
1 tsp
lemon pepper
salt to taste
pepper to taste

How to Make Pig Slop

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut up chicken into bite-sized pieces. Cook chicken and onion in a dutch oven with oil. Cook until chicken is cooked through and onion tender.
  • 2Add chicken broth, cream of celery soup, mixed vegetables, and noodles. Mix through. Add salt, pepper and lemon pepper to taste. Bring mixture to a boil.
  • 3Reduce to simmer. Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender checking and stirring mixture every 10-15 minutes.
