These are so good. In my pic I did not use the peppers because my they don't agree with my husband.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 large green bell pepper cut into strips
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 can pillsbury grands homestyle biscuits

How To Make philly cheese and ground beef casserole

  • Step 1
    Heat oven 350 degrees. Spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray
  • Step 2
    In skillet cook beef, and mushrooms with salt and pepper. Drain and place on bottom of baking pan. Place cheese over top
  • Step 3
    In same pan melt the butter and saute the onions, peppers, and garlic until crisp tender. Spoon over cheese mixture.
  • Step 4
    Separate the biscuits into 8. Flatten the biscuits a bit. Arrange over vegetable mixture.
  • Step 5
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown on top
