I created another burger casserole recipe with pepper jack cheese, filled with salsa cooked ground beef.

8 ozpepper jack cheese, cubed

16 ozdry elbow macaroni

2 1/2 Tbspgrated Parmesan cheese

2 1/2 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

2 lbground beef
-
2 Tbspsteak seasoning

1 cchunky style salsa
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1/2 cwhole milk

4fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced

1 Tbspsteak sauce mixed with brown sugar

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1 cshredded pepper jack cheese
How To Make pepper jack cheeseburger casserole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add cubed pepper jack cheese.

3Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Mix with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes. Set aside.

4Crumble the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until evenly browned. Season with steak seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drain any excess grease and stir in salsa. Set aside.

5Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, milk, sliced jalapenos, steak sauce/brown sugar, and cream cheese. Stir well. Bring it to a boil for 6 minutes until thickened.

6Add salsa cooked ground beef and macaroni mixture; mix well for 5 minutes until blended. Remove from heat.

7Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded pepper jack cheese.

8Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 15 minutes.
