Ingredients
- 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, cubed
- 16 ounces dry elbow macaroni
- 2 1/2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 tablespoons hamburger seasoning
- 1 cup chunky style salsa
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce mixed with brown sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
How To Make pepper jack cheeseburger casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add cubed pepper jack cheese.

Step 3Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Mix with grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes. Set aside.

Step 4Crumble the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until evenly browned. Season with hamburger seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drain any excess grease and stir in salsa. Set aside.

Step 5Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, milk, sliced jalapenos, steak sauce/brown sugar, and cream cheese. Stir well. Bring it to a boil for 6 minutes until thickened.

Step 6Add salsa cooked ground beef and macaroni mixture; mix well for 5 minutes until blended. Remove from heat.

Step 7Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded pepper jack cheese.

Step 8Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 15 minutes.
