the brand new burger casserole recipe i created,is for the people who loves mushrooms and swiss burger,this one filled with bacon.

Ingredients For mushroom & swiss bacon burger casserole?

  • 2 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp
    crushed garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese,softened
  • 3
    egg whites
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey mustard
  • 1
    green onion,chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 lb
    white mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt/black pepper
  • 6
    bacon strips,cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2 c
    shredded swiss cheese

How To Make mushroom & swiss bacon burger casserole?

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large skillet over medium heat.Add ground beef with crushed garlic and cook for 6 minutes until no longer pink:drain.Season with steak seasoning.Remove from heat.

    In a large bowl,combine cream cheese,egg whites,honey mustard and chopped green onion;whisk well for 4 minutes.

    Add ground beef mixture,mix until combined.Spread into the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.Press down.

    Heat margarine in a same skillet over medium heat.Add sliced mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes or until are browned.Season with sea salt/black pepper.

    Place on top of ground beef mixture.Scatter bacon pieces over the sauteed mushrooms. Sprinkle with shredded swiss cheese.

    Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
