This was my mom's recipe and the whole family loved it!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs - hamburger (raw)
  • 1 lb - sliced potatoes (raw)
  • 1 small sliced onion (raw)
  • 2 large cans cream of chicken soup
  • A little cup milk
  • 1-2 bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 bag frozen meatballs instead of hamburger

How To Make mom's hobo stew

  • Step 1
    Crumble a layer of hamburger in the bottom of a13*9 cake pan. Put a layer of potatoes and onions over the hamburger.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl combine the cream of chicken soup and milk. Stir until combined. Add the frozen vegetables. Stir.
  • Step 3
    Pour half of the soup mixture over the potatoes and onions. Keep layering all of the ingredients until gone
  • Step 4
    Cover with foil. Bake at 350° until potatoes and hamburger are done. Stir halfway through baking.
