Mexican Casserole

Note: I use 2 lbs ground beef and 1 can green chilis. We're a meat eating family!
Ingredients

1 pkgcorn tortillas, 12 pk

1 1/2 lbground beef

1onion medium chopped
-
1 lbvelveeta cheese grated or small pieces

1 can(s)ranch style beans
-
1 can(s)cream of chicken soup
-
1 can(s)rotel tomatoes w/chiles

1 Tbspchili powder
-
1 tspgarlic powder

·salt and pepper
How to Make Mexican Casserole
- Cook ground beef and onions in large skillet until browned. Add beans and seasonings and mix well.
- Grease 3 qt baking dish. Line bottom with 6 tortilla strips. Cover with half of meat mixture, and half of cheese. Repeat with last six tortillas cut in strips, meat, then cheese.
- Mix soup and tomatoes w/chiles and pour over the top . Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
