mac and cheese with shredded pork
Although the recipe indicates that this will serve two, my husband and I find that we are able to get two or more meals for the two of us. We often make the mac and cheese without the shredded pork and serve it with another protein. My husband's favorite is cocktail smoked sausages.

Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded pork
How To Make mac and cheese with shredded pork

Step 1Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, and set aside.

Step 2Bring 1 1/4 cups milk to a boil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.

Step 3Whisk together 1/4 cup milk and flour in a small bowl until smooth Gradually whisk into hot milk mixture. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Step 4Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, American cheese, dry mustard, salt, and paper.

Step 5Add pasta and shredded pork, stirring to combine; spoon into a baking dish.

Step 6Preheat broiler.

Step 7Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese over mixture.
