mac and cheese with shredded pork

Although the recipe indicates that this will serve two, my husband and I find that we are able to get two or more meals for the two of us. We often make the mac and cheese without the shredded pork and serve it with another protein. My husband's favorite is cocktail smoked sausages.

Ingredients For mac and cheese with shredded pork

1/2 ozelbow macaroni, cooked

1 1/2 cmilk

1 Tbspall-purpose flour

1 1/2 csharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cmild cheddar cheese

1/2 tspdry mustard

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 cshredded pork
How To Make mac and cheese with shredded pork

1Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, and set aside.

2Bring 1 1/4 cups milk to a boil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.

3Whisk together 1/4 cup milk and flour in a small bowl until smooth Gradually whisk into hot milk mixture. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

4Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, American cheese, dry mustard, salt, and paper.

5Add pasta and shredded pork, stirring to combine; spoon into a baking dish.

6Preheat broiler.

7Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese over mixture.

8Broil until cheese is melted.
