Mac and Cheese Tuna Casserole
I found a variation many years ago on a store brand macaroni and cheese box and have used it ever since.
The beauty of this dish is that you can add things to make it to your taste without detracting from the goodness.
The recipe can be halved for a smaller dish if desired.

2 boxmacaroni and cheese
2 can(s)cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cminced onions
1/2 cmedium cheddar cheese
2 Tbspgarlic salt
1/2 cbread crumbs
How to Make Mac and Cheese Tuna Casserole
- Make the boxed macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
- Mix Tuna, Soup, Mushrooms, Peas, Milk, minced Onions, Cheese and Seasonings ( I like garlic salt but use what you like according to your own taste.)
- Combine Macaroni and cheese with the Tuna mixture. Pour into a 9x11' baking dish. Top with Bread Crumbs (or if you would like more crunch use crushed potato chips, French Fried Onions, Croutons or whatever you want to use.)
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes
