Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 6 medium red skin potatoes thinly sliced
- 1 package hot dogs halved lengthwise and cut into slices
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 - green onions diced
How To Make hot dog casserole

Step 1In a saucepan melt the butter and stir in the flour and make a roux. Gradually add the milk and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat.

Step 2In a greased 9x9 pan layer 1/3 of the potatoes half of the hot dogs and half of the onions. Repeat layers topping with remaining potatoes. Pour milk mixture over top.

Step 3Place in a 350 degrees oven and bake for 45 minutes. Top with cheese and bake another 15 minutes. Serve garnished with green onions
