I created this new burger casserole recipe, with a Greek flair, filled with ground beef sauteed in a Greek vinaigrette dressing, Greek yogurt, feta cheese, and black olives. Just imagine the taste of cheeseburger and moussaka combined.

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 4 teaspoons Greek seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt mixed with black pepper
  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
  • 4 tablespoons Greek vinaigrette dressing, divided
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 cups crumbled feta cheese
  • 8 ounces mozzerella cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded

How To Make greek burger casserole

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
Cook fusilli pasta according to package directions; drain.

Place a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and saute for 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked fusilli pasta and remaining Greek vinaigrette dressing; mix well for 30 seconds. Add the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and sliced black olives and mix together until blended.
  • Step 6
Spoon the noodle mixture into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Add crumbled feta cheese. Top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Swiss cheese.
  • Step 7
Bake for 35 minutes until the casserole is set.
