What if chicken and waffles and garlic Parmesan were combined? This recipe I created becomes a main event for dinner. This is the sixth of the chicken and waffles meals I've made and the eleventh of the garlic Parmesan meals.

  • 1 c
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    crumbled cooked bacon
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 12
    frozen square waffles
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 6
    large eggs
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c
    pure cane syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
    avocado oil
  • 1 bag
    frozen popcorn chicken, defrosted
  • 4 tsp
    Italian seasoning
  • 1 bottle
    garlic Parmesan sauce
  • 3/4 c
    whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    ranch seasoning
  • 1 c
    shredded Mexican cheese blend

How To Make garlic parmesan chicken and waffles bake

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add grated Parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon and garlic powder; mix well.

    Toast the waffles according to package directions.

    Whisk the heavy cream, eggs, cream cheese and cane syrup together in a large bowl for 3 minutes until blended.

    Use a kitchen shears and cut the waffles into bite sized pieces. Add to egg mixture; stir well until combined.

    Pour into a prepared baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add defrosted popcorn chicken and saute for 5 minutes or until tender.

    Stir in Italian seasoning, garic Parmesan sauce, milk and ranch seasoning, let it simmer for 3 minutes over low heat.

    Remove from heat. Cool completely for 5 minutes.

    Take waffle mixture out from the refrigerator. Remove the plastic wrap.

    Spoon garlic Parmesan chicken mixture onto waffle mixture evenly. Sprinkle with shredded Mexican cheese blend all over.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheeses are melted. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
