crunchy beef casserole
This is a long time family favorite that my husband, a very picky eater, learned to love and asked to make often. The original recipe asked for a lot more of the seasoned salt (3/4 tablespoons), but I have learned less is better. It is fast, easy and delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 cups small shell pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1 can french fried onions
How To Make crunchy beef casserole

Step 1Brown the ground beef. Prepare pasta as package directions specify, omitting salt.

Step 2In large bowl, add cooked pasta, browned ground beef, cheese, soup, green pepper, tomatoes and seasoned salt. Mix together.

Step 3Place mixture in a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, covered.

Step 4Uncover and sprinkle French fried onions over the top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
