This is like having a foil pack dinner from camping ready for you when you get home for the evening. You can always add more onions, and the flavor will depend on your choice of baked beans. I personally choose one of the Busch's varieties for their flavors rather than a plain baked bean (in other words, not the original variety, pick something with flavor).

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    hamburger patties, thin
  • 2-3 small
    cans baked beans
  • 5-7 medium
    potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 medium
    onion, sliced and separated
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup, mixed with 1/4 c water

How to Make Crock Pot Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Start with beans and layer 3-5 layers of each of potatoes, onions, beans and hamburger, ending with beans. Pour ketchup over the top. Cover and turn crock pot on high. May overflow. Forget for 6-8 hours. Turn to low for 1 hour.
