How To Make crescent roll breakfast casserole
-
Step 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
-
Step 2Brown pork sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. About halfway through the browning process, add the onion, and continue cooking until the sausage is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease.
-
Step 3Reduce the heat to low and add the garlic. Cook the garlic for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
-
Step 4Spread the crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, pinching the seams together. Spoon the sausage mixture over the crescent rolls.
-
Step 5In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, half the cheese, salt, black pepper, marjoram, and thyme. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage mixture. Top with the remaining cheese.
-
Step 6Bake for 20 minutes. Lower the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
