I created a perfect burger casserole recipe, combining bacon, burger, and cream cheese. It's perfect with side of fries.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 large Vidalia sweet onion, peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons hamburger seasoning, divided
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard
  • 8 cooked bacon strips, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy whipped cream
  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make cream cheese bacon burger casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Heat the avocado oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sliced Vidalia onion and saute for 3 minutes or until browned and tender. Season with 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
    Transfer into a large plate and set aside.

    Add ground beef in a same skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 7 minutes until the beef is no longer pink and can be crumbled.
  • Step 5
    Remove from heat. Drain and discard grease. Stir in 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning, garlic powder, onion soup mix, and honey mustard.
  • Step 6
    Transfer beef mixture to a casserole dish. Add cooked bacon pieces and onion mixture; stir to combine; spread in an even layer.
  • Step 7
    In a medium bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream,beaten eggs, half and half, cream cheese and remaining hamburger seasoning; whisk well for 5 minutes until blended.
  • Step 8
    Spoon onto the beef mixture evenly. Sprinkle with shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese on top.

    Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
