One of my husbands favorite recipes and it works for the grandkids too.

Ingredients
- 2 - jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 15 ounces can chili with beans or without
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 package hot dogs
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
How To Make cornbread chili cheese dog casserole

Step 1Make the cornbread according to directions on box. Spread half in bottom of greased baking pan.

Step 2In large skillet add the olive oil and saute the onions and garlic until translucent. Cut the hot dogs in half lengthwise then into pieces. Stir hot dogs into the onion mixture and let brown Stir in the chili, brown sugar, chili powder and cumin.

Step 3Spoon hot dog mixture over cornbread mixture in baking pan. Top with cheese. Top with remaining cornbread mixture.

Step 4Bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes
