  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 lg
    thinly sliced sweet onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    campbell's cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    campbell's tomato soup
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 16 oz
    bag of medium or wide egg noodles
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How To Make comforting amish casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a large skillet cook the hamburger and sweet onion on medium heat until cooked. Drain the grease.

    Next, add the milk, mushroom soup, tomato soup, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan. Mix thoroughly with the hamburger and onions. Cook on medium low heat for 10 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

    Cook the egg noodles according to the directions on the package. When done, drain them well.

    Mix the egg noodles into the hamburger mixture and mix until combined.

    Spray a 9 X 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the prepared mixture into the baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.

    Remove the pan from the oven and spread the parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Serve with warm dinner rolls.
