chinese casserole
A form of this recipe has been in my family since I was a young girl and has always been a favorite. Since I have been making it, I have tweaked it some for my family's taste. It is very filling and a wonderful spin on a Chinese meal.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cup celery
- 2 cups instant rice
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups water
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 bag chow mein noodles
How To Make chinese casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 casserole dish

Step 2Brown ground beef, onion, and celery together. Drain well

Step 3Put Instant Rice in the bottom of the prepared dish. Add Soup, Water, Mushrooms, Water Chestnuts, Bean Sprouts, and Soy Sauce. Stir to combine well.

Step 4Add browned meat, onions and celery to rice mixture. Stir in well. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and top with Chow Mein Noodles. Bake for an extra 15 minutes.
