Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, divided
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 - chicken breast halves, cooked and diced
- 2 bags frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can potatoes, diced (15oz)
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 16 ounces chicken broth
- 1 can jumbo biscuits
How To Make chicken pot pie

Step 1Melt 1/2 of the stick of butter in a large pan (I use a non-stick Dutch oven). Add onion and saute until translucent.

Step 2Add veggies, potatoes and chicken to the onions and cook until heated.

Step 3Add the rest of the stick of butter to the pan and sprinkle the flour over the top. Cook a couple minutes until the flour is incorporated.

Step 4Add the chicken broth and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.

Step 5Pour the cooked mixture into a sprayed or butter 9x13 casserole.

Step 6Cut biscuits into 6 pieces each and scatter over top of mixture.

Step 7Bake at 350 for approximately 30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
