I created a casserole recipe with chicken fries. It's filled with banana peppers sauteed in a spicy honey mustard and a delicious sauce made from wing sauce, heavy cream, and cream cheese.

    frozen chicken fries
  • 3 Tbsp
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tsp
    creole seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 4
    banana peppers, sliced
  • 1
    packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1
    packet onion soup mix
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c
    creamy wing sauce
  • 8 oz
    pepperjack cheese, softened

How To Make chicken fries casserole with banana peppers

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Add the chicken fries, Parmesan cheese and creole seasoning; mix well.

    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced banana peppers and saute for 5 minutes or until tender. Reduce to low heat, stir in the taco seasoning, honey mustard and crushed red pepper flakes. Remove from heat.

    Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Combine heavy cream, half and half, onion soup mix, cream cheese and wing sauce. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until thick and creamy. Remove from heat.

    Add the sauteed banana peppers into the chicken fries mixture; mix well. Pour the sauce all over chicken fries/banana pepper mixture.

    Sprinkle with shredded pepperjack cheese. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
