Ingredients
- CASSEROLE
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch strips
- 2 tablespoons roasted garlic and herb seasoning
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 16 ounces uncooked farfalle pasta
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon sweet and tangy seasoning
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- BACON MEDLEY
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 pound thick sliced bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium purple onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sweet and tangy seasoning
How To Make chicken casserole with bacon medley

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 2Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for 6 minutes until no longer pink.

Step 3Season with roasted garlic and herb seasoning, black pepper, and onion soup mix. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4Cook farfalle pasta according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add grated Parmesan cheese; toss it well. Set aside.

Step 5In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, half and half, cream cheese, and sweet and tangy seasoning. Whisk well for 3 minutes or until blended. Set aside.

Step 6Heat olive oil and margarine in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add raw bacon pieces, diced red and yellow peppers, and chopped purple onion. Cook and saute for 6 minutes or until the bacon pieces are brown and crispy and the vegetables are tender.

Step 7Season with sweet and tangy seasoning.Reduced to a low heat.

Step 8Add seasoned chicken strips, farfalle pasta mixture, and cream sauce mixture; mix well. Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 9Remove from heat. Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Step 10Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
