chicken and rice casserole

This I learned to make when I first married almost thirty-three years ago. It has been a stand-by over the years and my children loved it (especially the rice). Just add a salad and a vegetable and dinner is ready in about an hour.

Ingredients For chicken and rice casserole

  • 4
    boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    inside tant rice
  • 1 c
    water

How To Make chicken and rice casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown chicken breasts lightly in skillet over low heat. Place soup, rice, and water in 2-quart casserole dish that has been liightly sprayed with Pam. Mix together, lay chicken breasts on top, cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
