chicken and rice casserole, mom's
Mom was a little short on some of her recipes, since she knew what she meant to do...Here is another example. This is a fantastic recipe, but the cooked chicken is not mentioned in the directions at all! I know she put the rice in uncooked, and assume she added chopped cooked chicken into the rice before adding the soups.

Ingredients
- 3 cups rice
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans cream of celery soup
- 2 cans water
- 2 - chicken, cooked
- 1 1/2 packages dry onion soup mix

Step 1Butter 2 pyrex 9x13 pans. Sprinkle half of the rice in each. Combine soups and water and pour heated over the rice. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Cover with foil and bake 2 hours and 15 min at 325 degrees. Will hold in warm oven.
