I love this casserole, I use Bell's Poultry seasoning, but any will do. You could also use a rotisserie chicken.

  • 1 3/4 lb
    cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 16 oz
    broccoli florets, thawed
  • 3 c
    brown rice, cooked
  • 3/4 c
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/41 c
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 c
    wine, chardonay or any dry white
  • 1/2 c
    romano cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp
    gravy master

How to Make Chicken and Broccoli Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray
  2. in medium saucepan. Whisk flour into broth, add poultry seasoning, Gravy Master and wine. Heat to boiling, then simmer until thickened. Enough to stick to back of spoon.
  3. Spread rice in bottom of baking dish, arrange chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle shredded cheddar over everything. Pour gravy over all, stir slightly, leaving rice intact
  4. Sprinkle with Romano cheese over top, cover tightly with foil. Bake 45 minutes, then remove foil and cook another 10 minutes.
    Let set 5 minutes and serve
