Ingredients
- 1 cup cubed process American cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 large Vidalia sweet onion, peeled and sliced
- 4 tablespoons hamburger seasoning, divided
- 3/4 cup honey mustard
- 1 package cornbread mix
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn,drained
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make cheeseburger cornbread casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 11x7-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add cubed American cheese.

Step 3Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

Step 4Reduced to low heat. Stir in chopped red and green bell peppers, sliced Vidalia sweet onion, 2 tablespoons hamburger seasoning, and honey mustard.

Step 5Remove from heat. Scrape the beef mixture into the baking dish with cubed American cheese, and mix well.

Step 6Whisk cornbread mix, cream-style corn, whole kernel corn, sour cream, half and half, milk, eggs, and remaining hamburger seasoning in a large bowl for 3 minutes until combined.

Step 7Pour onto beef mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly.

Step 8Top with shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Step 9Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
