I named this recipe Car Dealership Tuna Noodle Casserole, because I got it from a person at the dealership where I took my van to get an oil change! LOL I don't use celery, because I don't like it. You could use it if you want, or maybe add more onion...

How To Make car dealership tuna noodle casserole

  • 1
Oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 with PAM. Put 1 T butter in pan with onion and you could also add 2 stalks of minced celery if you want, I don't because I don't like celery. Cook this for 5 min over med-low heat.
  • 2
In large pan, melt 4 T butter over med-low heat. Add flour while whisking, until incorporated. Increase heat to med, whisk in eggs and milk, whisking constantly for 5 min until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened. Season with salt, pepper and garlic. Stir in tuna, flaking it while you do so it isn't in clumps, water chestnuts, parsley, onion and noodles. Put this mixture into teh 9x13.

Mix remaining 2 T butter with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle cheese over casserole, then top with breadcrumbs. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven, 45 min, or until edges are bubbly.
