Ingredients
- 8 sliced deli honey ham,diced
- 10 ounces bread cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes,divided
- 16 ounces dry elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 pounds ground round
- 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 medium shallots, peeled and diced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons hamburger seasoning
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard mixed with brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon creole seasoning
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 3 teaspoons garlic pepper
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sour cream
How To Make bread cheese burger casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add diced honey ham and half of the cubed bread cheese; mix well.

Step 3Cook macaroni according to package direction; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese. Set aside.

Step 4Heat ground round in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook for 5 minutes or until are no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

Step 5Reduced to low heat. Stir in chopped red bell peppers, diced shallots,hamburger seasoning ,Dijon mustard/brown sugar, Creole seasoning, onion soup mix, and garlic pepper. Remove from heat.

Step 6Heat margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, half and half, cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining cubed bread cheese. Stir well and bring it to boil for 5 minutes until thickened.

Step 7Add ground beef mixture and Parmesan macaroni mixture; mix well for 3 minutes until blended. Remove from heat.

Step 8Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining shredded parmesan cheese.

Step 9Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
