beef stroganoff casserole

Had some leftover beef so I made this tonight.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups salted boiling water
  • 2 cups shell macaroni (or whatever kind you prefer)
  • 1 pound beef (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • dash salt and pepper
  • 1 small onion ( diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (diced)
  • 2 cups mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup( 10 1/4 oz)
  • 1 can water
  • 1 cup sour cream, fat-free
  • 1/2 cup peas

How To Make beef stroganoff casserole

  • Step 1
    Add macaroni to the boiling water, bring back to boil turn off and let stand.
  • Step 2
    Add beef to the flour , salt and pepper and coat well, shake excess flour off. In large pan with some oil let beef brown.
  • Step 3
    Remove from pan, add onion and garlic sauté on low for about 5 minutes then add mushrooms and cook another 5 minutes. Add beef.
  • Step 4
    Add beef broth and mushroom soup to pan and bring to boil, turn down and simmer for about a15 minutes. Add sour cream and peas.
  • Step 5
    Drain Macaroni, Put in large casserole pour beef mixture over stirring well, put in 350 oven for about 20 minutes,
