Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 16 ounces can kidney beans - rinsed and drained
  • 15 1/4 ounces can corn
  • 10 3/4 ounces condensed tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cubed velveeta
  • 12 ounces biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter - melted
  • 1/3 cup yellow cornmeal

How To Make beef and biscuit bake

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the beef until no longer pink
  • Step 2
    Add beans, corn, soup, milk, onion, chili powder, and salt.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a boil
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat
  • Step 5
    Stir in cheese until melted
  • Step 6
    Spoon into greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish
  • Step 7
    bake uncovered at 375 for 10 minutes
  • Step 8
    Meanwhile, brush all sides of biscuits with butter
  • Step 9
    roll in cornmeal
  • Step 10
    Place on top of the bubbling meat mixture.
  • Step 11
    Bake 10-12 minutes.
