Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 16 ounces kidney beans rinsed and drained
  • 15 1/4 ounces corn drained
  • 10 3/4 ounces condensed tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cubed velveeta
  • 12 ounces tube of biscuits
  • 2-3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup yellow corn meal

How To Make beef and biscuit bake

  • Step 1
    Cook beef until no longer pink
  • Step 2
    Drain beef
  • Step 3
    Add beans, corn, soup, milk, onion and spices
  • Step 4
    Bring to a boil
  • Step 5
    Remove from heat
  • Step 6
    WStir in velveeta until melted
  • Step 7
    Spoon into greased 2 1/2 quart dish
  • Step 8
    Bake 10 minutes at 375
  • Step 9
    Brush both sides of biscuits with butter and roll in corn meal
  • Step 10
    Place biscuits over meat mix
  • Step 11
    Bake 10-12 min more
