I collected and made a master copy of a recipe book for a Head Start Fundraiser. This is one of those recipes, submitted by Emily M. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 large jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package spaghetti seasoning (see notes)
  • - pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 pound spaghetti noodles, semi cooked

How To Make baked spaghetti

  • Step 1
    Brown meat, onion, garlic, pepper and salt. Drain, add seasoning, sauce and water. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes. Put 1/2 spaghetti, broken into pieces, into a lightly greased casserole dish. Layer with half the sauce and half the cheese. Repeat a second layer. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees, then 10-15 minutes longer uncovered.
