I like creating delicious new recipes from Kinder seasonings. On this recipe, it's based on Red Wine Butter flavor on baked spaghetti with ground beef. There's Swiss cheese and green peas on the bottom, and there's no red wine on this one.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 8 tablespoons red wine butter seasonings, divided
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 4 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
  • 1/2 cup steak sauce mixed with brown sugar
  • 16 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup half and half
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

How To Make baked spaghetti with red wine butter beef

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add cubed Swiss cheese and green peas; mix well. Season with 2 tablespoons red wine butter seasonings. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes until browned and crumbly. Drain and discard the grease.
  • Step 4
    Stir in dry onion soup mix, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, steak sauce/brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons red wine butter seasonings. Remove from heat.
  • Step 5
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 6
    Transfer to a large bowl. Season with 2 tablespoons red wine butter seasoning. Add beef mixture; toss together for 30 seconds until combined.
  • Step 7
    Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, half and half, remaining garlic powder, soups, cream cheese, and remaining red wine butter seasoning.
  • Step 8
    Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Add beef /spaghetti mixture; mix well for 3 minutes until blended. Remove from heat.
  • Step 9
    Spoon over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
  • Step 10
    Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 15 minutes.
