Ingredients
- 1 cup cubed process American cheese
- 2 3/4 cups hot chunky salsa, divided
- 16 ounces uncooked mostaccioli pasta
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons prime rib seasoning
- 4 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes, divided
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons pizza seasoning
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
How To Make baked mostaccioli with salsa beef

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add cubed American cheese and 1 cup of hot chunky salsa; mix well.

Step 3Cook mostaccioli according to package directions; drain.

Step 4Crumble the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until evenly browned. Drain any excess grease.

Step 5Stir in prime rib seasoning, 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, 1 cup hot chunky salsa, and cooked mostaccioli.

Step 6Remove from heat. Spoon into a prepared baking dish; mix well.

Step 7Heat margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Step 8Add heavy cream, evaporated milk, pizza seasoning, cream cheese, and remaining hot chunky salsa. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.

Step 9Pour slowly into the casserole and spread evenly. Sprinkle with shredded Mexican cheese blend.

Step 10Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
