Most folks have strong feelings one way or the other about tuna casserole! I'm one of those who just loves it! Here is another great tuna casserole recipe! Ingredients

  • 1/2 bag egg noodles.
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 cups frozen, mixed veggies
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • - 2 fillets fresh tuna cooked through and flaked

How To Make another yummy tuna casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 3
    While noodles are cooking, heat butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add diced onion and saute until softened. Add in frozen mixed veggies and cook just until veggies are warmed through. Sprinkle with flour.
  • Step 4
    Pour in skim milk and dry mustard. Stir until thickened and bubbly. Salt & Pepper to taste.
  • Step 5
    Mix noodles with sauce & veggie mixture in a 9x13 glass casserole and top with grated cheddar cheese.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
