The way I make this includes only 5 ingredients, but you can literally add whatever you want to this cornbread mix. You literally can’t go wrong!

Ingredients
- 1 box jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 can chopped green chiles
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 pound ground beef
How To Make 5 ingredient jalapeño cornbread bake

Step 1Preheat oven to 425°.

Step 2Brown your meat, seasoning with whatever makes your heart happy. I use Dan-O’s, garlic powder and onion powder (on just about everything).

Step 3Mix cornbread while meat is cooking.

Step 4When your meat is done, drain and add to cornbread mixture.

Step 5Add corn, cheese, and jalapeños, and mix.

Step 6Pour mixture in a 9×13 casserole dish and top with more shredded cheese.

Step 7Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cheese on top is to your liking.
