Ingredients For turkish lamb burgers

    ground lamb
  • 4
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 c
    fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp
    plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 tsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • FOR SERVING:
  • pita bread
  • plain yogurt
  • mint
  • cucumber slices

How To Make turkish lamb burgers

    Put the ground lamb into a bowl with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

    Put under the broiler, 4 inches from the heat, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until browned and firm.

    Serve in pita bread with yogurt, mint, and cu­cumber slices.
