I originally made these burgers for Cinco de Mayo. My family and neighbors loved them. I like the Tostitos cheese sauce but you can use any brand or homemade sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 4 tablespoons nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • to taste - pickled jalapeno slices
  • 4 - hamburger buns

How To Make tex-mex burgers

  • Step 1
    Combine beef, cilantro and salsa in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Step 2
    Form into 4 patties.
  • Step 3
    Grill or fry the patties until done.
  • Step 4
    Place patty on a bun. Top with 1 T. cheese sauce, and jalapeno slices.
