A great summer burger when you're wanting something spicy. Serve with your favorite beverage and add some spicy sweet potato fries alongside.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef (could sub turkey)
- 6 tablespoons favorite salsa
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
- 4 - hamburger buns
- 4 slices 1-oz. ea. monterrrey jack cheese
How To Make spicy southwest burgers

Step 1Combine meat, 2 tbsp. salsa and taco seasoning and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

Step 2Heat grill and cook patties for 11-13 minutes total on medium heat or until meat is cooked through. Place one slice cheese on each patty and cook until cheese melts.

Step 3Grill buns, cut side down, on grill for 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Place meat on buns and top with 1 tbsp. salsa and any other condiments you choose, onion, lettuce tomato.
