How To Make ramen burgers - a good trend!

  • 1
Let's make some ramen 'buns'! In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the ramen noodles according to package the instructions (do not add the seasoning packets). Drain and rinse the noodles with cold water.
  • 2
In a big bowl, toss the noodles with the eggs until they are evenly coated. Season with some salt and pepper.
  • 3
Put a large nonstick pan over medium heat and pour enough veggie oil to thinly coat the bottom of the pan. Put the rings of 4 mason jar lids in the pan. Then, using some tongs to arrange, fill each ring with some of the noodle mixture. Press down on each to make the noodles more compact and so they will stick together. Cook the noodle buns until golden, approx. 4 minutes per side. Then, repeat until you have them all made. Wipe the pan clean.

Now let's make some burgers! In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, jalapeño, onion, green onion, and the garlic powder. Mix well. Form this mixture into 4 burger patties. Next, season both sides of each burger patty with some salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5
Return that wiped down pan to medium-high heat and pour a thin layer of oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Once the oil is hot, add those beef patties and cook them until the meat is cooked to your liking, approx. 4 minutes per side for medium. For the last minute of cooking, you can top each patty with a slice of cheese if you'd like. Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and cook until the cheese is melted, approx. 1 minute.

Last, it's time to assemble those ramen burgers! Top 4 of the ramen buns with lettuce, tomato slices, and those yummy burger patties. Feel free to drizzle each with Sriracha, if desired, and then top with the remaining ramen buns. Enjoy this trendy treat!
